Bittersweet is an online anthology which features the writing of Asian-American students across America. Centered around the Chinese concept of “kǔ tián,” or “bittersweet,” this collection explores the recent rise in anti-Asian sentiment amidst the pandemic while celebrating the resilience and growth of young Asian-Americans. This initiative seeks to raise awareness of institutional and casual racism while strengthening the integration of Asian-American stories into mainstream media.
